"Came off I-10 for a late lunch. Restaurant was clean and welcoming. Got right in and were greeted by a friendly staff. Food was good. Flavorful, but the fajitas were a bit sweet. Salsa Piccosa (homemade hot salsa/sauce) was amazing. Worth a try for good Mexican food. Great outdoor seating section if it’s a nice day."

"Our first interaction with Jordan was great. She was super welcoming and made us all feel like she was genuinely happy that we came in. That’s what hospitality is all about & she nailed it. Megan was our server and she was amazing. Super polite, very attentive, kind, and very pleasant. She encouraged us to take our time and gave great suggestions. Our drinks came out really fast and were so good. She made sure to check on us every few minutes, never let our drinks get low, and even brought us extra chips with our cheese dip. Her energy was great and made us all feel happy to be at her table. I ordered a daiquiri that was half strawberry and half piña colada. It was so yummy and tasted like dessert. Absolutely delicious and made perfectly… not too strong, not too weak, the perfect balance of smoky rum and sweet fruit. Our food was brought out by a vibrant and joyful young man named Braylen. He was upbeat, friendly, and somehow knew exactly who ordered what without even asking. He even asked us if we needed anything and checked on us after bringing the food out. The fajitas were the star of the show for sure. They were tender, juicy, and sizzling when they came to the table. The birria quesadilla was also amazing… the meat was so tender and nostalgic in the best way, and the broth had just the right combination of saltiness and richness. The Spanish rice was also delicious and filled with flavor. Even the kids fries were above average, even better than Checkers fries and that’s really saying something. Imagine the flavor of checkers fries but thicker, crunchier, and juicier. Yummm!!! Tonight was all around an excellent experience. It’s hard to find great food accompanied with excellent service these days. I wish every restaurant had a Jordan, a Megan and a Braylen. Use these three to train the rest of your staff and you will always have happy customers."

"Just traveling through Mobile and it's dinner time. I spotted a colorful restaurant "Aztecas". The food smelled delicious Our server Angel was on point. He recommended the special fajitas plate. It was served on a hotel cast-iron skillet. The aroma filled the restaurant. They beef was tender and so juicy! Their Margaritas were great as well! I'm from Texas and I was very surprised that Aztecas had all of the TexMex flavors! Their menu is very reasonably priced. I recommend Enjoy"

"Passing through Mobile between Atlanta and Texas, and happened to stay at a hotel down the street from Azteca Mexican Restaurant Tillman location (which our hotel staff highly recommended), on their Margarita Wednesday night. As we parked, we could hear live music from their patio - on a Wednesday in mid-December. Very cute, and fun! We sat inside, but appreciated the vibe! The food was very good - not too salty, as so many Mexican restaurants (any restaurant really) are these days. And the service was great! A very cheerful, friendly, and welcoming Fred (Freddy) waited on us and took time to have a couple of short conversations with us. We also really enjoyed the Margaritas (Texas style) for just $6.50 each, for a nice sized tasty margarita! As for the food, my husband and I shared fajitas for one, plus their premium guac, which was perfect for us, as we are traveling to Texas and didn’t want to have a lot of leftovers to either waste, or to figure out how to stuff into our cooler. Perfect! Suffice to say that we very much enjoyed the experience and highly recommend this friendly little spot."

"I ordered the make your own taco party meal and the chimichangas for me and my family and in less than 20 minutes they had the food out and on the table our waiter was super nice and we were greeted at the door overall if you want real Mexican food and a little bit of American style Mexicali then this is a great place the prices are fair and the portions are plentiful. If you have a child or toddler they do have chicken and French fries I would easily give Aztecas 5 stars all around."
